In keeping with the theme of John's album release shows, we're pleased to announce a special event in Sydney, Australia!


That's right, John will be performing at the Metro Theatre in Sydney on November 5th in support of Battle Studies. Tickets for this show are being first offered to members of the johnmayer.com mailing list.

BATTLE STUDIES ALBUM RELEASE SHOW AT TORONTO'S SOUND ACADEMY ON NOVEMBER 24TH


A special album release show will take place at Sound Academy in Toronto on November 24th. The performance will be filmed and broadcast in early 2010 via partner, sympatico.ca. Tune into www.inmusic.ca for future broadcast updates.


Tickets to this event are available exclusively to past members of Local-83 for 24 hours beginning Friday, October 23rd at noon EDT. If any tickets remain, they will be available for public sale on October 24th at noon EDT via paperless ticketing at ticketmaster.ca.

BATTLE STUDIES ALBUM RELEASE SHOW AT NYC'S BEACON THEATRE ON NOVEMBER 17TH
Following the release of Battle Studies on November 17, a special album release show will take place at historic Beacon Theatre in New York City. The performance will be broadcast live on the Fuse Network at 9pm ET (8pm CT).  In addition, fuse.tv/JohnMayer will air live backstage footage leading up to the broadcast of the show.  Tickets to this event are available exclusively to past members of Local-83 as a thank you for years of dedication and loyalty.

HEARTBREAK WARFARE AUGMENTED REALITY TO LAUNCH 10/19 AT JOHNMAYER.COM
Some of you may have seen coverage of last week's sneak peak of Augmented Reality at the Adobe MAX convention.  We are excited to announce a full launch of this experience on johnmayer.com next Monday, October 19th.   Built using the AdobeÆ FlashÆ Platform, the music video features a clip from Heartbreak Warfare and demonstrates how Augmented Reality technology and music can combine to create a special entertainment experience for music fans. Anyone with a printer and a webcam will have the ability to see the interactive, three-dimensional hologram of the first ever Augmented Reality music video!

SMALL TOUR IN UK IN JANUARY

We are also pleased to announce a string of small shows in the UK in January. The tour will hit London, Glasgow, Manchester, and Wolverhampton in support of the new album. UK residents who preorder Battle Studies by midnight on October 26th will have a chance to purchase tickets for these shows before they go on sale to the general public.
