a quick study...A friend of mine, Armando, who plays bass at my church...a former professional wrestler who wore a mask, and who actually has hishis former wrestling mask tattooed to his arm...the brother smokes...plays a Fender fretless Jazz black beauty...

SUMMER ESCAPE...

All kids from the inner city hit either local beaches, the city's public pools or my favorite...the fire hydrants...but every once in awhile, I was treated to a small park, about 20 minutes away called Rye pool, which is part of Rye Playland...made famous in the movie "BIG" starring Tom Hanks...it's totally art deco, and reminds me of early South Beach without the old folks waiting to go to heaven...it's totally old school, concrete pavement and all....the boardwalk leads to the amusement park...but this place is totally cool...the pool faces a small beach, so you have the choice of chlorine or salt water...so every monday, during the summer, you can find me here.....
